Finally! It's Time to Go Home! :)

The countless things I learn during an internship abroad can be overwhelming. As an intern abroad I soaked up details about a new culture, a new city and also your profession. Since the internships last for a month, I have a more nuanced understanding of the culture and city than mere travelers. I will come back home wiser and with a new way of seeing the world.



Thank you so much UST  and SDK Family! I will be forever grateful for this once in a lifetime experiences! :) I learned so much from all of you!

First Day at SDK Sang Timur School (August 7,2018)

August 7, 2018 was my first day at SDK Sang Timur School. Another warm welcome for us! We had a meeting with all the staffs of the school. The teachers are so kind and caring. One of the teachers sang a Filipino song and I really enjoyed it.  After the meeting, they introduced us to every class. The children are so sweet. And I really appreciate it so much. We also have a short dialogue with the other teachers and told us about the the children and how they handle a class. The SDK Sang Timur School is a inclusive school. So they are accepting a child needing a special care and attention. They brief us about on how to handle the children who needs a special care and attention.

Second City Tour (Prambanan Temple & Hutan Pinus)

Prambanan Temple Last August 11 we visited one of the famous temples in Indonesia. I, Jumille, Rere, and Nurul had a great time together. Life was meant for good friends and great adventures! All the love!!! Hutan Pinus Had a great time here! The weather is good and the place is a must visit place when you are planning to visit Yogyakarta.  There's a funny story behind these beautiful pictures! :) First let me tell you that we ride a motorcycle just to get there. So here's the story, after going to the Prambanan Temple we decided to go the Hutan Pinus. But guess what? We don't know the way going there. So, we explored the way. We lost several times, we took the rough roads and we even asked strangers just to get there.  But the place is worth sacrificing. All the hardships had been paid off when we got to the place.  I am recommending this place. I had so much fan in here!
